Crayola is reminding grownups of the restrained creatives they once were as kids. Drawing from a remarkable 40-year art program, the renowned crayon maker has launched the Campaign for Creativity, which aims to spark a dialogue about the profound effects of fostering creativity in children, which shapes their potential and well-being.
Perfectly timed for UN World Creativity and Innovation Day, the initiative brings a series of heartwarming short films. They showcase the journeys of three adults who, as children, participated in Crayola’s art program.

Holding the nation’s largest collection of children’s artwork, collected over the past four decades, Crayola displayed these pieces in museums and galleries. Now, they're making their way back home.

Crayola plans to share unidentified artwork on social media, enlisting the public’s help in reconnecting 50 more pieces with their creators this year. This is just the first wave, with an ultimate goal of returning all 1,000 artworks within the archive.
Crayola’s Stay Creative campaign serves as a beautiful reminder of the enduring power of childhood creativity. It’s a call to action, urging us to nurture this spark in our children, allowing them to blossom into well-rounded individuals with a lifelong appreciation for creative expression.
