Kim Kardashian has responded to an allegation gone viral that she had gifted her daughter, North West, a bloody button-down shirt.

A report published by Refinery29 wrote that Kardashian gave her child a blood-stained shirt owned by former president for Christmas.

The report also included a photo that was seemingly taken from Kardashian’s Instagram Stories showing the garment that was believed to have been worn by Kennedy on the day he was assassinated in 1963.

The article also questioned Kardashian’s decision to present such a horrifying item to her child for Christmas, before concluding with a statement that read, “Kardashian West is building one hell of a fashion archive for her daughter.”

A Twitter user called out the publication, writing, “Somebody tweeted as a joke that Kim Kardashian gifted North JFK’s bloody shirt and Refinery29 wrote about it as if it were true?”

Kardashian immediately responded to the tweet, saying that the news was obviously “fake.”

“I did not get that shirt,” she replied. “That is a sick joke that someone tweeted as a fake IG story that I never posted,” Kardashian clarified.

Other social media users were amused that the publication fell for the fake post, while a number were not surprised at the dupe due to the Kardashian’s lavish lifestyles.
