Social Media Font Generator Lets You Spiff Up Your Bio Fonts & Preview Them Live

Instagram users have been using fancy fonts to make their display names and bios stand out of late. If you’ve wondered how they’ve been doing that, it’s likely that they’ve been using third-party text generators to rewrite text in various styles.
Social media users would generally test these fonts by pasting the text into edit fields and then saving their profiles. However, this would mean the text would go live whether it’s to their liking or not.
San Francisco-based product designer Moe Amaya removes this step by creating a new and improved Font Generator that lets you select a font for your socials before previewing and then copying and pasting it to your social media bios.
The website offers real-time Instagram and Twitter previews of how your profile bio might appear, so you can keep experimenting with fonts until you’re satisfied with the results.
The designer describes that the tool isn’t technically a font “generator,” but a leverage of Unicode to “[replace] each letter.” Essentially, it’s more of a “font changer,” Amaya explains.
You can even go further with multiple font types in a single phrase by selecting a font and pasting some of your text elsewhere, and then completing the sentence or chunk of words with another style within the generator.
