A new optical illusion involving a pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers has baffled the internet.
A Twitter user shared a photo featuring the Louis Vuitton sneakers, writing, “Are these white or black, because all I see is white?” The controversial image has sparked a ferocious debate on Twitter over the footwear’s real color.
“White is the only right answer,” one confident Twitter user wrote. However, another argued, “I don’t know how anyone is seeing anything other than black.”
Others took the time to explain why people would be seeing two contrasting shades. “They’re white shoes in the dark. I don’t get why people are confused. They’re white. Just no light,” a Twitter user explained.
“They’re white but the brightness of your phone is turned down and the LV pattern is tricking your eyes. At first glance I saw black,” another user commented.

Depends how high my brightness is turned up on my phone. I usually have it quite dark so I see black, if o turn my brightness up to full then I can just about make it as a dirty white
