Queen Guitarist Brian May Broadens His ‘One Vision’ By Designing Sports Bras

Queen’s guitarist Brian May is now selling sports bras on his website. Designed by May himself, the undergarments sport illustrations of various guitars.
“Highlighting Brian May’s consummate artistic talents, this activewear salutes the entire range of Brian May Guitars with a bright, bold design prominently featuring the united colors of BMG – because it doesn’t have to be red to be special!” the products’ description reads.
The pieces recently began selling on the rock icon’s Brian May Guitar (BMG) store for £35 (US$45.50) each.
Many users are puzzled by May’s latest venture into sports bra sales. “One word: Why?” a Twitter user responded. While the site predominately sells replicas of the 72-year-old’s instruments, it extended its merchandise line to accessories and apparel.
Though the official BMG sports bra is “no longer available for purchase” on the website, the same design is printed on button-down t-shirts and waistcoats, priced at £45 (US$58.50) and £79.00 (US$102.80) respectively.
The waistcoat, designed by May, promises to“render man-bags and hand-bags redundant” by providing several pockets to “hold everything” from phones, keys, and wallets to cameras, makeup and sunglasses. It also comes with an “extra special ‘Pick Pocket’ dedicated to sixpence coins.”
The coin celebrates the four members of Queen by symboling each member’s instrument. The top of the coin, for instance, features the Bechstein grand piano that the late Freddie Mercury played in Bohemian Rhapsody.
