Part Of Donald Trump’s ‘Virtually Impenetrable’ Border Wall Falls Over From Wind

US president Donald Trump’s border wall has divided opinions, but one striking point of contention is how sturdy it is.
The president famously declared that the wall was “virtually impenetrable and that it was “not something that can be really knocked down.”” However, the structure proved to be too delicate for the wind on Wednesday, as the Customs and Border Protection sector confirmed that the new wall panels in Calexico, California had been blown over by wind gusts rushing at 37mph.
CNN learned from agent Carlos Pitones of the department that the panels had been freshly set in concrete foundation, and since the concrete had not settled, the wind ended up loosening the grips of the sections.
Trump’s faith in the effectiveness of the US-Mexico border has been challenged repeatedly in the past. Back in October 2019, an eight-year-old successfully climbed the wall after he claimed “20 mountain climbers” had failed to scale the structure.
