Donald Trump Applauds The Wrong State For Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl Win

This year’s Super Bowl saw the Kansas City Chiefs emerging as the comeback winners over the San Francisco 49ers. The big win prompted President Trump to congratulate the victors through a Twitter post, but he ended up applauding the wrong state.
“Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on a great game, and a fantastic comeback, under immense pressure,” he wrote. “You represented the Great State of Kansas and, in fact, the entire USA, so very well. Our country is proud of you!”
Instead of giving a shoutout to Kansas City, Missouri, Trump cheered on the great state of Kansas. 11 minutes later, the gaffe was immediately replaced with a corrected tweet, mentioning Kansas City, Missouri.
But Twitter users caught on, and began predicting the different ways Trump might address the blunder. Chief TV critic of The New York Times James Poniewozik wrote, “This is all going to end with another Sharpie map, isn’t it?”
Previously, Trump stated that Hurricane Dorian might possibly hit Alabama and backed it up with a map indicating his claims.
