Nike Goes For Gold With Air Max 97s Dripped In Luxe For 2020 Tokyo Olympics
Nike has unveiled a special edition of the Air Max 97 sneakers ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The shoes, dubbed ‘Gold Medal’, are dressed in gold with subtle accents of black and red.
The upper of the footwear is fashioned from gold mesh and leather, giving off victorious vibes. The sneakers also feature 3M accents with black trimming appearing through the collars.
A signature wave panel is constructed from the uppers down to the outsoles, and the Swoosh branding is printed on the mid panels and tongues.
There is no official release date for the Air Max 97 ‘Gold Medal’ yet, but its price is rumored to be between US$160 and US$170.
