Joaquin Phoenix Tickles Fans With His Hilarious Curtsy To Prince William

Joaquin Phoenix breaking out into a curtsy upon meeting Prince William is a scene that will make you smile.
The Duke of Cambridge came over to introduce himself to the actor at the BAFTAS, to which Phoenix adorably curtsied and said, “Lovely to meet you.”
The gesture was unexpected, and as Jezebel points out, men are only required to give a nod when they are introduced to royalty. Whether Phoenix was aware of this or not, the curtsy was still funny and adorable.
Prince William then complimented Phoenix’s performance in Joker. “I put it off watching it as people kept telling me ‘Be careful when you choose to watch it’,” the Duke said. “But when I did, it blew my mind.”
