Instagram Finally Introduces A Feature That Suggests Accounts To Unfollow

Your partiality for content (or certain people) might change over time. If you’ve been going on a following purge on Instagram but have had trouble scrolling through your entire following list, Instagram’s new tool will make the spring cleaning process easier for you.
On Thursday, the social network rolled out a feature that will help you declutter by revealing who you interact least frequently with, as well as accounts that most regularly show up in your feed.
This way, you can remove accounts that no longer serve your interests, or weed out annoying accounts that fill up your feed.
A representative of Instagram told TechCrunch that the update ensures users can better manage accounts they follow “so that they best represent your current connections and interests.”
You can locate this feature by hopping over to your profile and then tapping ‘Following’. From there, you’ll see two new categories at the top: “Least Interacted With” and “Most Shown in Feed.” The accounts are suggested based on your activity from the last 90 days.
