Adobe is launching a campaign for this year’s Academy Awards that apparently has something new to discover each time you watch it.
The ad, titled Creativity for all, is an ode to creativity. Set to the song Pure Imagination by Gene Wilder, the 60-second spot will also feature icons such as Malala Yousafzai, Billie Eilish, Willy Wonka and Shepard Fairey.
Developed with the help of advertising agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners, the ad also comes with a trailer to thank the creative community who took part in producing the commercial’s beautiful imagery. It will credit over 1,000 artists who have used Adobe products for their creations.
Creative director at GS&P Matt Edwards told Muse that the film will be “packed with creativity that you notice something new every time you watch it.”
Some of the themes included in the clip are social justice, art and advertising.
GS&P creative director Wes Phelan said that the team will be sending the credits film to those who “talk about the spot,” which will also be up on Adobe’s social channels.
Adobe CMO Ann Lewnes said in a blog post, “Creativity has the power to influence politics, culture, and social norms, so it's critical that we hear from a broader, more diverse set of voices, especially the next generation of creators.”
