Donald Trump Calls Fake News On Viral Photo Of His Bold Orange Facial Tan Line

Over the weekend, a photo of Donald Trump bearing a dramatically “orange” tan line on his face went viral. However, Trump called fake news on the photo after memes and jokes relating to the photo burgeoned.
The photo shared by unofficial Twitter account @photowhitehouse claims to be shot by photographer “William Moon.”
It depicts the president hunched over with wind sweeping his hair from his face, revealing a contrasting pale skin tone around his hairline and the edges of his face.
Soon, a black-and-white photo by the same account surfaced, further propelling the skin differences.
Trump immediately called fake news on the photo, claiming it to be doctored. “More Fake News. This was photoshopped, obviously, but the wind was strong and the hair looks good? Anything to demean!” he tweeted.
It turns out a similar photo from the same day had been published elsewhere and did not showcase the distinct skin tone difference. Hence, many believed that the photo was either intentionally edited to mock Trump or was simply the result of unflattering lighting.
