IKEA foresees that many of its shoppers will spend Valentine’s Day getting wrapped up under the covers, but before that happens, it has dished out a piece of advice: use protection, albeit of a different kind.

In a cheeky ad posted on Facebook, IKEA Singapore showed off the waterproof GÖKÄRT mattress protector, which is able to fend off water—and presumably other types of liquid.

“It's safer to use protection,” the company urges in its caption.

One Facebook user notes that the “water” depicted in the image seems “suspiciously thick.” So if you’re planning to spend your Valentine’s weekend conducting, say, a series of scientific experiments to confirm the mattress cover’s durability, it should be able to hold its shape.

It's safer to use protection.
