Wendy’s Relentlessly Goes After Burger King For Its French Fry-Filled Sandwich

Burger King is testing another meatless burger, this time one with all fries.
On Monday, Comicbook reported that Burger King in New Zealand was testing the waters for its take on England’s Chip Butty dish comprising french fries and bread.
Wendy’s, a fast food chain that is all about the beef whether in real life or online, replied to the publication’s tweet and commented, “When literally anything would be better on a bun than their beef.”
Wendy’s didn’t stop there, and continued whipping her pigtails at Burger King over the new fries sandwich. When asked what the menu item had to do with Comicbook or comic books, the company responded, “Maybe it tastes like the paper? Literally no idea, to be honest.”
Wendy’s also agreed with a Twitter user that Burger King could have been running out of ideas, but suggested, “They should try the ever present idea—make it good.”
