Disney’s Cinderella Castle Is Getting A Magical Transformation With Gold Accents

Disney has announced that it is giving its iconic landmark a magical redesign.
The Cinderella Castle, part of the Magic Kingdom theme park, will be receiving a brighter and bolder royal makeover. Once it is complete, the 189-foot-tall castle will have blue and pink towers, along with gold spires, in place of its current blue and gray.
Vice president of Magic Kingdom Jason Kirk revealed in a Disney Parks blog post that the transformation will be in honor of the 70th anniversary of Cinderella, the movie that inspired the castle.
It is unclear when fans will be able to see the new castle, but renovations will start in “the coming weeks” and continue throughout summer.
