Nike has released a stirring tribute in honor of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

The ad was shared before the late basketball player’s public memorial at the Staples Center, and took on a minimalist approach to highlight Bryant’s tremendous career.

The two-minute simple visual featured a black screen while messages and numbers flashed on the screen. Text included “Forever,” “Philly Kid”—to highlight Bryant’s childhood roots—and the number of years that he won the NBA championship.

In the background, the ad played audio and media coverage that complimented Bryant as a great basketball player. Aside from referencing his 81-point game against the Toronto Raptors and five NBA titles, the clip also highlighted Bryant as a great father and husband.

The heart-wrenching video ended with the words, “Mamba Forever.”
