Salt Bae’s New Pink Burger For Lady Diners Is Getting A Lot Of Eye Rolls

The Turkish salt-sprinkling chef, christened as Salt Bae, is capturing the internet’s attention again, this time for launching a new burger crafted for women at his first US location in New York City.
As part of the outlet’s grand opening, Salt Bae’s Nusr-Et Burger in NYC will be giving away a special burger to “compliment the ladies.” It’s a dainty veggie sandwich for women who are *inevitably* watching their diets.
The burger for ladies, made smaller than Nusr-Et’s usual burgers, is packed with squash, carrots, cilantro, white onions, parmesan cheese, and a homemade mango chutney.
Not to mention, the buns are pink, so it’s clearly for females.
“Salt Bae’s new burger restaurant menu sounds like a giant troll,” Eater New York’s article wrote.
Al Avci, Nusr-Et Burger’s general manager for US operations, told Eater New York that the menu item was a success when it launched in Dubai. While the menu states that the burger is “free for ladies,” Avci explained that men will not be charged when they order it too.
If you feel bad about getting the veggie burger on the house, you can wash that down with a US$99 Golden Shake.
