Apple Celebrates Powerful Females In Star-Studded International Women’s Day Ad

In light of International Women’s Day on 8 March 2020, Apple has unveiled a touching video honoring successful women who have paved the way for others around the world.
The photo slideshow, featuring 14 influential females using the Mac, is accompanied by Beyoncé’s Flawless featuring Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
The short film spotlights the following women in order: Malala Yousafzai; Ava Duvernay; Marie Kondo; Greta Gerwig; Gloria Steinem, Lady Gaga; Megan Rapinoe; Shannon Box; Olivia Wilde; Diane von Furstenberg; Elizabeth Banks; Alicia Keys; Lilly Singh; Audrey Gelman; Black Mamba; Victoria Monét; Tarana Burke; DJ Switch.
“To the scientists, the musicians, the athletes, the mothers, the entrepreneurs, the artists, the engineers, the teachers — the women of all generations who drive us forward and show girls everywhere that the future is limitless: We celebrate you,” Apple’s CEO Tim Cook wrote on Twitter.
As part of International Women’s Day, Apple will also host over 5,000 Today at Apple sessions, titled She Creates, at its stores around the world throughout March. Further, it will kick off Apple Watch Activity Challenges on 8 March to encourage customers to be more active while celebrating Women worldwide.
