British Citizens Are Debating If New Post-Brexit Passports Are Black Or Green
British citizens are being issued new post-Brexit passports after the UK left the European Union.
The new passports include a new color change—from burgundy to blue—returning to its original hue for the first time after 30 years. Another new feature includes the floral emblems of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, embossed at the back cover of the passport.
The Home Office revealed a clip of what it looks like on Twitter, with the caption, “Britons will once again be able to travel with a blue passport when the iconic color returns for the first time in almost 30 years.”
However, many aren’t convinced with the color of the passport, arguing that it looks either black or green. “That’s not blue, it’s black,” one Twitter user said. “That passport is green,” another user argued.

It’s definitely not a blue passport. The Canadian one is a dark blue and it doesn’t reflect like that.
