Adult Doll Maker Creates ‘Dream’ AI Girlfriend To Wine, Dine & Everything Else

It’s not easy finding love the traditional way these days, and many would rely on dating apps to find quality connections. Others, though, would take another route.
RealDoll, a company reputed for hooking sex dolls up with AI “brains,” has introduced a whole different kind of dating app that puts “the perfect companion in the palm of your hands.” In ‘RealDollX’, you can customize a virtual AI girlfriend to a dream type, down to her personality, chest and butt size.
To play the RealDollX game, you’ll merely need to pay US$29.90 a year—less than a bouquet of flowers or an individual portion at a dinner date.
As there’s no cookie-cutter ideal in the world, members can tweak the personalities of their AI girlfriend to their liking. Traits include “affectionate,” “jealous,” “unpredictable,” “sensual,” “spiritual” and “moody.”
Relationships are also simulated to mimic real partnerships, in that the more and better you engage with your virtual girlfriend, the more she’ll be taken by you. After pushing the right buttons, she’ll “want to know you more” and eventually fall in love with you.
The company explains that the game lets you “work on your seduction skills.” As a reward, “she will surprise you once she knows you more.” A look at one of its pages (NSFW) indicates that these “surprises” could be sexual.
Apparently, boredom exists in the fantasy world, too. Players are invited to “cheat” on their AI partners through an in-app ‘Sex Robot’ app, where they’ll be able to date other avatars on the side.
Seeing as how all this is from a sex robot maker, players can also connect the software to a RealDollX-powered robotic head system to have face-to-face interactions with their bot partners in real life. This won’t come cheap, as prices start from around US$8,000 a head. But if you’re willing to make this a long-term commitment, a life-long human-silicone relationship could be yours.
