Spotify Brings Focus To Emerging Artists With New ‘Radar’ Program

Spotify has unveiled a program to shed light on 36 emerging artists from all around the world. Radar aims to help musicians through guidance and support with 19 of its sister programs in order to boost them into the next stage in their careers.
An example would be Alaina Castillo, who is the first Radar artist in the US. She will get a documentary distributed through the platform, as well as a promotion of her music videos, a set of Spotify Singles, and be a part of A Colors show event in collaboration with Colors Studios.
“Spotify is a major reason why I’m able to be an independent artist,” singer-songwriter/producer Lauv shared in the release. The musician was previously focalized via Spotify’s developing artist program years ago.
The list of 36 artists includes Young T + Bugsey from the UK, Agnes Nunes from Brazil and Fujii Kaze, Vaundy and Rina Sawayama from Japan.
