Grim Video Shows Italian Newspaper’s Obituaries Expanding From One To 10 Pages

A chilling video shows how a local newspaper in Italy went from having only a page-and-a-half of obituaries to 10 pages in just a month.
Journalist David Caretta posted a clip depicting the differences between the obituary pages from L’Eco di Bergamo on 9 February and 13 March.
The short video, which was originally uploaded by Giovanni Locatelli, reveals there were only a few notices of deaths to print in 9 February, but there were dozens by 13 March, showing how much the death toll has soared due to the coronavirus.
According to the site ourworldindata.org, there have been 1,268 reported deaths in Italy, and the number of confirmed cases has doubled in the past five days.

That is correct, funerals are forbidden and relatives are not allowed to visit the sick, so they are dying without a funeral and without saying goodbye to their loved ones. I am in Milan and we hear a lot of ambulances rushing around. It is heartbraking
