Artists Imagine Their Dream Living Spaces To Cope With Coronavirus Anxiety

The coronavirus has pushed many to work from home in a bid to encourage social distancing.
Staying locked in might bore some people, so illustrator Pélénope Bagieu started a “cadaver exquis,” which translates to “exquisite corpse,” to get creatives to design their “perfect room” where they wouldn’t mind getting isolated in due to the virus.
The “cadaver exquis” refers to a collaborative artwork that involves drawing a piece of art and concealing it, and then handing it down to the next person to continue the work. In this case, French artists have come together for a collaborative project called #CoronaMaison.
Bagueu started with a template of an empty room with a staircase, and soon, creatives began designing their ideal living spaces in their signature illustration styles.
