Green Goblin’s Butt Surprisingly Goes Viral in This Amusing ‘Spider-Man’ Meme

A scene from the 2002 Spider-Man film has resurfaced and gone viral on Twitter.
The scene shows Willem Dafoe’s villain Green Goblin chasing Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man through the Festival Day celebration on his glider. It places great focus on Green Goblin’s butt, and has resulted in pretty hilarious reactions.
The frame was shared by Twitter user @RottingVale, and he captioned it, “This frame is making me have a breakdown in the bathroom.”
The scene surprisingly gained traction nearly two decades later, and other Twitter have decided to embrace it to symbolize major issues that you just can’t outrun.
@kzimm_ labeled Green Goblin as “financial responsibilities.” Another user created a joke in light of the coronavirus, likening the villain to the “one-percent of germs” out to get you after you wash your hands with soap promising to kill 99.9-percent of germs.
