Doctors Dance To ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ Each Time COVID-19 Patient Is Discharged

To celebrate the recovery of COVID-19 patients, healthcare professionals from a New York City hospital dance to Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’ to keep their spirits up.
In an emotional clip posted on the hospital’s Twitter, doctors and nurses at New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital lined up the halls and cheered on patients as they left its premises. Two patients were seen rolling down the hall in their wheelchairs while the staff cheered on them with epic dance moves and applause.
“As a message of hope during these challenging times, #NYPQueens plays Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’ throughout the hospital each time a #COVID19 patient is discharged and on the road to recovery,” the hospital captioned the clip.
President of New York Presbyterian Queens, Jaclyn Mucaria, imagined the sweet gesture will mean a lot to patients as much as it does to personnel. “Every patient discharge gives hope to New York Presbyterian Queens staff. They are encouraged to see their patients recovering and going home,” Mucaria said.
