CNN’s News Banners On Trump Are So Scathing, They Almost Seem Fake

CNN didn’t hold its tongue about its thoughts on US president Donald Trump’s demeanor during the COVID-19 press briefing on Monday.
Screenshots of ‘breaking news’ banners about Trump have been floating around on social media due to their savage, frank overtones.
“Angry Trump turns briefing into propaganda session,” one tagline reads. “Trump melts down in angry response to reports he ignored virus warnings,” says another.
The writer in charge of the banners was being critical of the president’s reaction to the pandemic during the briefing. Trump’s response that day resulted in the hashtag “#TrumpMeltdown” trending globally.
During the briefing, POTUS presented some videos from FOX News to call out media outlets for purportedly trivializing the effects of the coronavirus.

He also showed footage of him fervently stepping up to tackle the crisis. However, Trump only included clips from March, and not in February when he claimed COVID-19 was the Democratic Party’s “new hoax” to impeach him.
In an act of frustration, CNN let out, “Go to CNN.com for the full archive [of receipts],” in one of its banners.
