Netflix Releases Full Series & Films On YouTube For Free, Including ‘Abstract’

Netflix isn’t all mindless entertainment—looking at you, Love is Blind and Too Hot to Handle—it’s also home to some original educational programs to alleviate your binging habits.
As families stay home to flatten the COVID-19 curve, Netflix is bringing 35 to 40 hours of learning material to everyone, including non-subscribers, by releasing some of its top education shows and movies on YouTube for free.
The lineup includes the highly-rated documentary Knock Down the House, which revolves around the campaigns of US Democratic congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Amy Vilela, Cori Bush and Paula Jean Swearengin; Our Planet, a documentary exploring Mother Nature’s wonders; 13TH, a film about the mass imprisonment of black Americans; Babies, a series about raising babies and their growth that has been on Netflix’s top 10 list for some time; and Explained, a series by Netflix and Vox covering topics you’ve probably been curious about.
Design enthusiasts are bound to enjoy Netflix’s hit documentary series Abstract: The Art of Design, where viewers are led into the lives and minds of industry moguls like Paula Scher, Christoph Niemann, and more.
