Facebook Is Testing The Ability To Change The Color Of Your Profile

Facebook seems to be working on the option to change profile colors. Cue MySpace and Friendster memories.
As shared by Jane Manchun Wong, reputed for reverse-engineering apps to look out for hidden features, the social network is testing customizable background colors for profiles in the mobile app for Android.
Wong’s screenshots reveal four shades: a dark green, deep blue, grayish blue, and burgundy. It’s unclear if more choices might be made available beyond these metallic options.
Hopefully, more colors will be introduced should Facebook decide to give this feature the green light, no pun intended. For the most part, social media users think the existing spectrum is “boring” and should be brighter.
“MySpace custom themes looked better than that,” one Twitter user responded.
Others are suggesting using gradients instead of solid dark backgrounds. What do you think?
