Elon Musk Reveals SpaceX’s Internet Service From Space Will Soon Be Ready

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk revealed that the launch of the Starlink internet service project is in the pipelines, with a “private beta” version in high latitudes arriving in about three months, to provide internet to various rural communities via small satellites.
Musk followed up the announcement by saying that the public beta version could be out in around six months, as well.
SpaceX has launched 360 satellites as of March, and is planning to send around 12,000 units to space by the end of the decade.
However, the internet satellite ambition has been receiving criticisms from astronomers, who are concerned that the satellites will have negative implications for observers on Earth.
Musk responded to the backlash by stating that the company will work on making the satellites less reflective.
