Post Malone Is Livestreaming Nirvana Tribute Fundraiser For COVID-19 Charity

Post Malone will be performing a Nirvana tribute on Friday via a livestream on YouTube to raise funds for COVID-19 relief efforts. Malone teased the benefit concert on Instagram along with his phone number, which fans can text for more information.
As a fan of Nirvana fan himself, Malone had performed the band’s All Apologies live in the past. Now, he is set to perform some classics and fan-favorites of the band during the livestream for a good cause.
The benefit concert will take place in collaboration with the United Nations Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. Fans will be able to directly contribute to the fund by clicking the “Donate” button on the top-right side of the screen.
Google.org is also getting involved by matching the donations at a 2:1 rate up till US$5 million. All of the proceeds will fully head towards the UN Foundation.
Courtney Love, the wife of Nirvana’s late frontman Kurt Cobain, offered her well wishes to Malone by writing, “I approve the usage. Good luck Mr. Malone.”
