IRL PANTONE Color Picker Extracts Real-World Hues For Your Inspiration

As you know, inspiration strikes out of the blue. Why not use color palettes you come across in the real world?
Cone is a live color picker created by colorblind developer Kushagra Agarwal that lets you identify PANTONE swatches and color codes in the environment around you.
The PANTONE-licensed app was launched in 2017 and is now back with significant updates. After revealing the exact swatch of any object you point at—including photos in your camera roll—Cone 2.0 lets you bookmark and organize collected hues into “buckets” inspired by scenes or locations to be accessed easily.
Buckets and colors will also be synced into the Apple Watch from your iPhone in real-time for inspiration on your wrist. Additionally, there’s a colorblind mode that detects exact hues for colorblind users.
For greater accuracy, Cone 2.0 has been updated to the latest PANTONE guide. Users can also adjust white balance to a higher precision with a neutral gray card.
