Chrissy Teigen Shuts Down Body-Shamers Likening Swimsuit Photo To ‘SpongeBob’

Chrissy Teigen is not one to stay quiet when criticism comes her way, and this time is no different. Recently, Teigen took to Twitter to share a video of herself in a swimsuit, and soon, she was hit with body-shaming comments.
The 34-year-old shared a clip of herself wearing a one-piece bikini. The post garnered awful comments on her body, with one user even suggesting she was “shaped like SpongeBob.”
The backlash prompted another Twitter user to confront the insults, which Teigen herself retweeted and commented on. In the post, Teigen shut down critics by saying that her “square” body shape had “paid off nicely in many ways” and pointed out how people are so used to body shapes that have been surgically enhanced nowadays.
Teigen also claimed that if she had surgical work done on her body, people would still have something ill to say about her. She finally declared that she is happy with herself, and so is her husband, John Legend.
