When the website no longer receives any messages within 24 hours, it will then cease to exist and the whole database will be wiped clean.
Not only can you express how you feel anonymously, but people can also read your messages and vice versa.
There is also a countdown noting when the website will self-destruct in real-time to remind you to keep it alive.
According to VICE, the messages are being read over a million times, and more posts come in every minute.
Some people leave optimistic messages surrounding the virus crisis, while others have expressed their sadness. That is why there is a “Feeling down?” button to connect people with various organizations like the National Alliance on Mental Illness HelpLine.
