Wes Anderson has released the original storyboard for his 2014’s The Grand Budapest Hotel. The Oscar-winning film is notable for its symmetrical shots and pastel hues that present a dreamy watching experience for audiences.

Anderson unveiled the 25-minute-long animated video of his sketches depicting recognizable scenes of The Grand Budapest Hotel. The clip is narrated by the director himself, who explains his inspiration for the movie.

The video starts with the opening scene, and slowly introduces prominent characters in the film as well as provides backstories to their development. The new animated video of his storyboard drawings will also be featured in the film’s special-edition home video release.
