Boris Johnson addressed the British people on television last Sunday, giving them a rundown of on which lockdown measures will be eased and preparations the public will need to make to help control the situation.

His speech was accompanied with eye-catching graphics, including a familiar color-coded COVID-19 alert system numbered from five to one. The number five is colored in red, indicating the most severe condition, while one is colored in green.

Many have pointed out that the alert system bears similarities with Nando’s famous Peri-Ometer, which shows customers the level of spiciness for its flame-grilled chicken.

“Boris has used his PowerPoint presentation to trigger Nando’s cravings,” one Twitter user wrote. “Boris said we can go to the pub when we reach lemon and herb,” another Twitter user joked.

So we’re at “mild” #COVID19 with just a slight tang of death?

This is too risky a positioning for a Nandos order, let alone public health... pic.twitter.com/8HIFNcyDKj

So we’re in Medium Covid-19 when we actually need Lemon & Herb Covid-19? Gotcha. pic.twitter.com/muDPbem9my
