Snoop Dogg wants fans to let it go during the coronavirus pandemic, as indicated by a viral video of the rapper listening to Let it Go from Disney’s Frozen in his car.
“I had to come in my car and listen to this, man,” Dogg said in the clip. “Let it go, we’ll be outside soon.”
The footage was promptly shared among social media users, with Twitter user Amy Brown saying, “I would like to talk about this video of Snoop Dogg listening to the Frozen soundtrack in his parked car.”
The clip garnered a lot of reactions, with people emphasizing what the rapper on a “spiritual level.”
“Like the rest of us, Snoop Dogg is having all the feels. He is not the hero we asked for, nor is he the hero we deserved. But he is: the hero we need,” a Twitter user explained. Another user tweeted a photo of Snoop Dogg holding a sign that said, “This is the cutest s**t I’ve ever seen.”
The singer of the track, Idina Menzel, took notice of the video and responded with a video of herself listening to Snoop Dogg’s 2004 hit song Drop It Like It’s Hot.
“We’re going to get out of this soon,” Menzel told her fans while singing along in her car. “And like you said, Snoop, we can all just drop it like it’s hot.”
