Donald Trump Sparks Memes After Claiming to Visit Bunker To ‘Inspect’ It

Last Friday night, Donald Trump and his family were rushed into an underground bunker in the White House amid anti-racist protests in Washington, DC.
Though the Trump family was reportedly shaken by the protests, according to HuffPost, the president had his own reason for going down to the bunker.
During an interview with Fox News Radio on Wednesday, Trump told radio presenter Brian Kilmeade that he had visited the bunker for “a tiny little short period of time,” and it was “much more for an inspection.”
The president also stated that he had visited the bunker for a couple of times only for inspection. “Someday, you may need it. I went down, I looked at it,” he explained.
However, not everyone was on board with Trump’s reasoning about heading to the bunker during such a crucial period, and internet users began ridiculing his response.
“Yeah, he just wanted to check out the artwork,” one user joked, while another user questioned, “Inspecting it for what? Bunkeriness? Hideability?”
