As companies strip down on expenses to pull through the
COVID-19 pandemic, one adult entertainment platform is stepping up to lend them a helping hand.
Live-camming service Stripchat is offering up
free advertising on its website to small businesses struck by the crisis by engaging popular cam models to don t-shirts with their brandings.
Interested businesses are asked to send over their logo to be applied to t-shirts created free-of-charge, which will be worn by models over the next 30 days in livestreams shared on Twitter.
“We decided to do something that would allow us to give back to our community on a very local level,” explained Max Bennett, Vice President of New Media at Stripchat. “We want to help the mom and pop pizza parlor that’s been in business for decades or the barber shop you frequent regularly by allowing them to tap into our user base of over 30 million members and ultimately gain the exposure they deserve during the pandemic.”
The free platform reported an average of over 60 million monthly visits in its press release.
Along with the t-shirt adverts, Stripchat will also share the businesses’ websites and social media channels in public chats hosted by models for additional exposure.
Keen applicants can send in their requests and company logos to
[email protected] until midnight ET (9pm PT) on 30 June, explaining how their businesses have been hit by the crisis.
“The campaign is open to any small business that is interested. Businesses ranging from nail salons and pizza parlors to barber shops and vintage boutique shops are welcomed to apply,” the site continued. Confirmed businesses will be notified soon after.
