Kendall Jenner Denies Botched Photoshop Of Her Holding Black Lives Matter Sign

Kendall Jenner has refuted ownership of a heavily ridiculed image photoshopped to include a protest sign.
A photo of the supermodel falsely holding up a sign that read “Black Lives Matter” went viral online, but Jenner has since stepped forward to clear the controversy, saying, “I did not post this.”
The edited image saw Jenner, wearing a black mask, black mesh top and jeans, standing in front of a group of people and a black car. She was depicted to be carrying the protest sign, but what stuck out to others was that while her shadow could be seen on the ground, the sign was not reflected.
The image was shared by Andru Edwards on Twitter, who pointed out the missing shadow on the ground. “What’s missing from @KendallJenner’s shadow?” he asked.
Many social media users were angry at the supermodel for suppossedly editing the poster into the photo instead of actually protesting, but others came to the model’s defense.
“I hate that she’s getting slammed for something she didn’t do. It’s an edit,” one explained.
In truth, the original photo featured the supermodel simply raising her hands up with a bottle in her hand. It is believed to have been shot during her birthday celebration in 2019, backed up by the Instagram post below.
Jenner reassured everyone that she was not to one who posted the edit. “This is photoshopped by someone. I did not post it,” she said.
