Apple iPhone Owners Complain Of Screens Turning Green Due To Display Issue

Select iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max screens don’t appear to be in the pink of health, as a number of users have spotted a strange green tint wash over their displays upon unlocking their smartphones.
The issue, brought up on Reddit and MacRumors’ forum, shows a green tint on screens in either Dark Mode with Night Shift or when their brightness is cranked down to the lowest setting for a few seconds after the iPhones are unlocked.
The problem seems to affect some iPhone X owners, as well. iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, and X users reported encountering it only after upgrading their devices’ software to iOS 13.4.1, iOS 13.5, iOS 13.5.1, or the iOS 13.5.5 beta update.
At least one user facing this issue has had their screen replaced by Apple Store employees, but still experiences the green tint, so it is thus more likely a software bug. It’s unclear if Apple will be patching it soon, though.
