The killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis cop has sparked protests across the US, and even around the world. Now, fashion designers are rallying support for anti-racism efforts by raising funds through T-shirt sales.

LA streetwear label Freshjive has re-released its ‘
Black Is Not A Crime’ graphic T-shirt for US$40 each. Funds collected will go to the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI), a nonprofit organization fighting to end mass incarceration as well as extreme punishments in the US.
Brain Dead

LA streetwear brand Brain Dead has collaborated with Blood Orange’s Devonté Hynes for a graphic T-shirt with the words reading, “If You Love Black Culture, Protect Black Lives.” Each T-shirt is priced at US$54, and proceeds will head towards the Movement 4 Black Lives (M4BL) and LGBTQ Fund.

Fashion line Chinatown Market’s ‘
F**k Racism’ T-shirt is sold for US$48 per piece and has already raised around US$30,000. The full proceeds will be split between George Floyd’s Memorial Fund, National Bail Fund Network, and the Black Lives Matter Movement Fund.

Clothing label Felt has released a new T-shirt embossed with the words, “
Give Fascism the boot.” The back of the tee screams the end of oppression. Sales from the piece will go towards the National Bail Out Fund.

Freddie Gibbs teamed up with producer The Alchemist for a creative project entitled
Alfredo. One of the T-shirts in the merchandise line sheds light on police brutality with the lyric from the song,
Scottie Beam. The line reads, “
My execution might be televised.”
Each piece is priced at US$20. The total sales for the T-shirt design will go towards the families of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, and Breonna Taylor, who unfortunately lost their lives under police custody.
