Someone Offered Cops A Can Of Pepsi Like Kendall Jenner Had, But It Didn’t Work

Unlike the picture painted by Kendall Jenner, a can of Pepsi might not work as a peace offering in real life.
Protesters decided to take a step further in roasting Jenner’s controversial 2017 Pepsi campaign—where she was shown offering a can of cola to a police officer, who gladly accepted the gift—by recreating the gesture.
Comedian Everett Byram decided to re-enact the scene by wearing full-on riot gear and approaching an LAPD officer with a can of the soda.
“Hey, you guys, like a Kardashian over here, hey, look, it’s a Pepsi, want Pepsi? Have it!” Byram said as he approached the police. “Have a Pepsi, dude!”
The officer appreciated the offer, but declined because he had to back up. “But it helped in the commercial,” Byram said. The cop responded, “I don’t drink soda.”
The following day, another protester walked up to a line of police officers in full riot gear and offered the cola. “I can’t believe someone actually did it,” an onlooker commented on the viral photo.
Jenner hasn’t responded to jokes, though the 2017 Pepsi commercial began trending again after anti-racism protests broke out in the US.
