Netflix Launches ‘Black Lives Matter’ Collection To Highlight Black Storytelling

Netflix has released a new Black Lives Matter collection that lets viewers explore a selection of movies and television shows centered around the lives of Black Americans.
“With an understanding that our commitment to true, systemic change will take time—we’re starting by highlighting powerful and complex narratives about the Black experience,” read the statement from Netflix’s official Twitter account.
The selection arrives as a popup screen directing subscribers to 47 titles. The collection will feature Black experiences with films and shows, including Oscar-winning Moonlight, the documentary 13th, Dee Rees’ Mudbound and Spike Lee’s upcoming film Da 5 Bloods, set for release this Friday.
