Gen Z Is Brutally Parodying Millennials, And Feelings Are Getting Very Hurt

Millennials can’t seem to catch a break. After being nitpicked by any generation older than them for their stereotypical love for overpriced avocado toast and such, they’re now being dragged by Gen Z, a group with astonishingly masterful roasting abilities.
Screenshots of a TikTok comments section where Gen Z tears apart millennials with scathing impersonations have gone viral. Shared by a possibly traumatized @local__celeb on Twitter, the remarks ridicule Gen Y’s apparent Harry Potter pride and complaints about “adulting.”
“They’ll be 34 talking about ‘I’m a Hufflepuff,’” teased one TikTok user. “They’re worried about their Harry Potter house but they live in a one-bedroom apartment… y’all worried about the wrong houses,” said another.
“Just gonna drink my coffee bleh,” a user mocked. “And they say doggo,” another chimed in.
The comments hurt, but they’re also quite true. However, some millennials have suggested that Gen Z, which McKinsey & Company defines as those born between 1995 and 2010, won’t be laughing for long as it might be more difficult for them to manage their finances and afford housing in the future.

Older millenials like myself had the privilege of growing up where we didn't reach for our phone every minute. We played outside, got dirty, got in trouble, built character, really got to know people. Gen Z thinks watching others play video games on youtube is a hobby.
