WWE Halts TV Recordings After Wrestler Tested Positive For Coronavirus

WWE has stopped its TV recordings last Tuesday after a WWE developmental wrestler was tested positive for coronavirus.
The company will test all talent and employees in attendance for coronavirus, per the Wrestling Observer. This is the second publicly announced case of COVID-19 in WWE. The first reported case was back in April when an on-screen talent, who is not a wrestler, was tested positive.
The company claimed that the employee was contracted by the virus after exposure to a couple of healthcare workers. However, the employee, who has now fully recovered, had no contact with anyone in the company.
WWE has been hosting weekly shows from its training center in Orlando for around three months during the pandemic. However, the show was carried out without any fans in attendance but recently, there were developmental wrestlers present around the ring behind a transparent glass screen.
