Did ‘Robber’ & ‘Hiker’ Emojis Ever Exist? Somehow The Internet Remembers Them

Could this be another Mandela Effect?
Internet users have claimed that two particular emojis—the ‘robber’ and the ‘hiker’—had always been part of the emoji index. However, Distractify reported that those two emojis never actually existed.
The mind-blowing discovery was found in a Reddit thread, and the user wrote, “I can swear there was a robber emoji. It had like a grey beanie, a beard and wore a black and white striped shirt.” Other Redditors too claimed they have seen it before, however the emoji was strangely never found.
One Reddit user explained that this happens due to the custom-made graphics seen in an app called Bitlife, which included the robber. “You probably saw one while playing/watching the game, or seeing one of the mobile ads they used to constantly play on other apps and games,” the user explained.
Twitter users however, claimed they have used the emoji before, and even sketched it out for others to see. Another mystery is the hiking emoji, which was not be found even after internet users searched it online. The hiker emoji saw a boy carrying a backpack and carried two hiking sticks.
“So you’re telling me, the hiking emoji and the robber emoji never existed? I’m really confused right now I remember them clear as they,” one Twitter user said.
