Anne Hathaway Shares ‘Devil Wears Prada’ Meme To Remind Fans To Wear Masks

Anne Hathaway has a cheeky way to remind people to mask up during the coronavirus pandemic.
Twitter user @AJhisnandez shared a hilarious meme last week involving a scene of Hathaway as Andy Sachs, an assistant at a fashion magazine, in The Devil Wears Prada. Her character underwent a makeover, and everyone started noticing her.
The famous clip showed her walking into the office dressed in Chanel, to the envy of colleagues.
@AJhisnandez decided to remix this mic-drop moment by editing Hathaway in a mask, as well.
“‘Are you wearing the C-’ ‘The CDC recommended face covering because we’re still in the middle of the global COVID-19 pandemic? Yeah, I am’,” he wrote on Twitter, alongside an image of Hathaway in her Chanel getup and mask.
The tweet went viral online and even caught the attention of Hathaway herself. She shared the meme on her Instagram and captioned it with the response, “Face Masks. During a pandemic. Groundbreaking.”
