The late Divine was a drag icon, who cemented his role in pop culture since the ‘70s. Luxury fashion brand Loewe is celebrating the life of Divine through a limited-edition capsule collection and museum exhibition, as well.

Born Harris Glenn Milstead, Divine clinched fame through regular collaborations with director John Waters, and starring in popular films including Pink Flamingos, Hairspray and Lust.

The collection, however, was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic but it will soon be presented though several pieces, including T-shirts and totes, inspired by Divine’s classic looks. The accompanying museum exhibition will carry on virtually as it pays tribute to Divine’s artistry, as well as the samples from the collection.

Fans can view memorabilia from Divine’s infamous white dress, posters, magazine covers, to his personal makeup case and more via the online exhibition.

Loewe’s collaboration aims to honor Divine in support of Visual AIDS, an organization aiding artists living with HIV and Baltimore Pride, Black-led LGBT+ nonprofit based in Divine’s hometown.
