A recent Twitter meme has social media users suggesting they “know a place” or “spot” before dragging you downhill with awful examples of dates.
Though the trend comes in time as a form of escape during the coronavirus pandemic, it also reminds that leaving your home may not be the best idea after all.
Some of the versions mock people for their toxic behaviors and personalities, while others warn you of the worst-case scenarios out there.
One Twitter user wrote, “Girls be like ‘I know a place’ and then take you here,” alongside an image of the yellow hut in the 2019 film Midsommar, where horrific things took place. Another user joked, “Guys be like ‘I know a spot’ and take you...for granted.”
