NY Daily News Takes A Dig At Trump With ‘Cringing’ Presidents On Mount Rushmore

Presidents whose faces were carved into Mount Rushmore appeared to be overly concerned on the front page of the New York Daily News tabloid.
The newspaper released Saturday’s edition with the headline “Happy Fourth?” together with an illustration of Mount Rushmore depicting former presidents raising their eyebrows while fireworks surrounded them.
The image is said to take a dig at Donald Trump’s Independence Day celebration at Mount Rushmore National Memorial last Friday. “Don in Mt. Rushmore madness,” the newspaper labeled Trump’s speech. POTUS spoke about “cancel culture” and “far-left fascism” to his supporters, who weren’t adhering to social distancing measures nor wearing masks.
The tabloid is known to use its front page to make fun of the president. Previously, it plastered a mask over Trump’s face in response to his refusal to wear one.
